The Business House Expands; Adds Cumming Business Broker Molly Scott to Help Clients Achieve Goals

GAINESVILLE, Ga., April 21, 2008 – The Business House, Inc., a successful, family-owned and long-time Georgia-Florida business brokerage headed by Founder and President Jeffery E. Merry, announced today it has welcomed Molly Scott of Cumming as a Business Broker in the firm.

Prior to joining The Business House, Scott worked for 14 years with a variety of large- and medium-sized companies in the areas of corporate sales, operations and consulting.

“We are fortunate to have someone of Molly Scott’s caliber in our practice,” said Merry. “She has worked as a nationally recognized facilitator, developing and delivering programs that include the basics of profitability, sales process, coaching, contract negotiation, project management, and presentation skills.”

According to Merry, “Molly will bring a new and exciting dimension to the way in which The Business House helps its clients acquire and sell businesses in Georgia and Florida. She has that all-important “hands-on” experience one achieves working in the corporate trenches.”

Merry continued, “Training the employees of companies and organizations that operate in different business sectors like McKesson Corporation, the U.S. Postal Service, Georgia-Pacific, JCPenney, and even Bank of America has helped Molly learn about the complex and different issues confronting company leaders today.”

Said Scott, “The same issues that CEOs of major corporations face also keep local business owners up at night. My goal is to help reduce the anxiety of business owners by giving them a better understanding of the market and showing them what they can do to increase the profitability of their organization.”

“Whether a company is worth $75,000 or $15 million, all owners have the same questions surrounding a potential sale,” Scott continued. “How much can I get? How soon can I get it? How certain are you that it will sell? We can answer these questions and educate the seller on the sales process. The more they know about what makes a business marketable the better.”
